ABOUT

About Me!
Text saying "Hi I'm Laura" with pink underline.

A freelance, graphic designer, living and working in Belfast.

I’m the founder and owner of Laura Craig Design Creative Studio

I combine my love of design, music and activism through bold imagery and typography.

In 2018, I graduated with a first class honours Bachelor Of Design and Illustration degree from the University of Ulster where I discovered my love of designing for social impact.

I started my Belfast based creative studio in 2019 with the aim of connecting and working with passionate people within the arts, culture and music sectors.

I have been freelancing from my studio ever since, helping clients make their mark and become creatively empowered through branding and design.

I am a member of the creative team for SkelpieLimmer Productions who create bold, socially conscious theatre.

Side Gigs

Alongside graphic design I have hosted numerous workshops including a Movie Poster Workshop as part of the Playback Film Festival in Association with Lumi, Queens Film Theatre, Reimagine, Remake, Replay at the Nerve Centre and the Ulster Museum. I hosted a Zine Activism Workshop in the Oh Yeah Centre as part of Women’s Work Festival which celebrates women in music in NI. Most recently I co-hosted a Merch Making Screen Print Workshop.

My love of music, obsessively collecting vinyl and going to gigs lead me to collaborating with Girls Rock School Northern Ireland. Working to empower young girls, women and gender diverse youth through music, art and self-confidence at summer rock camps and music events.

With Girls Rock School I have facilitated workshops which including a zine making workshop, a screenprinting workshop. As well as weekly jam sessions, Open mics, Girls Rock Camp.
